For about halfway through I was starting to get one of those friar/monk looks. Then I decided it was time to cut my losses--because by that point all the remaining hair could be construed as losses--and pulled out the clippers. Now you will never trust him to cut the kid's hair again and he will be crestfallen I'm sure! Just as I was. I don't have to do laundry after the "pink underwear" incident, I don't have to run the dishwasher after the "melted tupperware" incident. I don't have to do most of the things I screwed up the first time. I am crestfalledn as well ... but what can I do? I'm just a male who can't get it right! Darn!
