Obama or Clinton?
Reagan and her best friend P. just made up from a month long argument. Reagan told me “I’m glad we made up, we both like to read and can talk about books. And politics, we both like to talk about politics.”

Why not Rudy or Huckabee?

Obama = little experience.
Clinton = campaign fraudster (she is destined to win by powerful people) I would bet $500 that Hillary will end up winning this election, unfortunately.
Huckabee = horrible decisions coming back to haunt him, and he will drop out shortly.
Rudy = will not even come close-numerous negligence lawsuits pending on this guy.

I see it this way: best Democrat: Barack Obama
Best Republican: Hillary Clinton
Best theocrat: Mike Huckabee (hello medieval science and auto-de-fas!)
In all seriousness: I am backing Obama based on his political skill, anti-war stance and his attitude toward the less fortunate.
But if Clinton wins the nomination I’ll vote for her; she is smart, capable and can work with others, even if she is a bit too corporate and conservative for my tastes.

Well, the title shows my bias. (life long Dem, leaning towards Obama, but will vote for Hilary if she wins the primary.)
My husband, the Republican, says our daughter is one, too, but I’m hoping he’s wrong….

You really would vote for her, just because she has the Democratic nomination?

I am an independent…and I have carefully weighed and measured every republican and democratic candidate out there. I like Kuchinik for his honesty…even though he doesn’t have a snowballs chance, and I like Obama for his policy on the war. I will not be voting for Hillary…don’t get me started. On the republican side…I like Gulliani….thats it.
Basically…I’m probably voting dem this year. But, if Hillary wins the primary…I’ll only vote for her because of having Bill back in there, in whatever capacity that may be.
The village idiot is almost gone…HORRAY! Not that we can repair the damage that he has already caused. :o(

Yes. The way I see it: if any of the “major” candidates win (even the Republicans), we will end up with better than we have now!
Now if Thompson wins, I hope they have lots of Jeri photo ops.

Thompson’s wife is a babe.
But, for the ladies, I must say Barack is VERY appealing.
And, yes, I would vote for Hilary. I don’t have the anti-Hilary animus a lot of my peers have toward her. It seems a lot of people judge her for staying with Bill after his affair, but I have never been in her shoes, so I really can’t say what I would do, and, for those who think she was wrong to stay, how does that relate to her ability as a leader?

Oh, and Laura, I wouldn’t vote for Hil just because she has the Democratic nomination; I’m not a straight ticket party voter. I have voted for Republicans in the past, (Ray Lahood and Jim Ryan-it was a vote against Blagovich) but of all the Republicans running this time, there isn’t one that I would vote for ahead of Clinton.
